About AILAMA Mind & its author

Who builds this, how the content on this site is reviewed, and what AILAMA Mind is — and deliberately isn't.

Who writes and reviews this content

AILAMA Mind and the articles on this blog are created by Meir Gilady, founder of AILAMA. Meir is not a licensed psychologist, therapist, or physician, and neither this site nor the AILAMA Mind app is a substitute for one. Every article on this blog is written to plain-language standards and checked against established, published Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) literature, with a review pass whenever it's updated (each article lists its own last-reviewed date).

What AILAMA Mind is

AILAMA Mind is an AI companion for emotional support and self-help: a private space to talk things through, track your mood, practice reframing unhelpful thoughts, and follow guided breathing exercises — available any time, without an appointment.

What AILAMA Mind is not

It is not a licensed psychologist, therapist, or psychiatrist. It does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, or replace professional mental health care. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately — see our crisis-safety approach for exactly how the app handles that moment.

Corrections and questions

If you spot something inaccurate or out of date in an article, or have a question about the app, please reach out via the contact page. Corrections are reviewed and articles are updated when needed.
