Privacy Policy — AILAMA Mind
AILAMA Mind (mind.ailama.live and the "Mind live AI based assist chat" Android app) is operated by AILAMA. The AILAMA Privacy Policy applies in full. This page describes the additional data practices that are specific to AILAMA Mind. The legally binding version is the Hebrew version.
1. Data we process
- Account details — your AILAMA account (name, email, encrypted password, or Google sign-in identity).
- Conversations — the messages you write to the assistant and its replies. These may include sensitive information about your emotional state; please share only what you are comfortable sharing.
- Mood logs and thought records — mood entries, thought-record exercises and related notes you create in the app.
- Memory profile and conversation summaries — for registered users, a short automatically generated summary of what you have told the assistant (for example, how you like to be called, the topics you raised, what has helped you, goals and upcoming events), a one- or two-sentence summary of each conversation, and, if you agreed to one, your weekly plan and its progress. This is what lets the assistant continue from where you left off.
- Weekly review — a short automatically generated review of your last seven days, based on the data above.
- Safety follow-up record — if the app's safety protocol is triggered (for example, when a message suggests a risk of self-harm), we record the date so that the assistant can check in with you on your next visit. No additional content is stored for this purpose.
- Reminder subscription — if you turn on the daily reminder, the browser push subscription, your chosen hour, time zone and language.
- Guest sessions — if you chat without an account, a temporary guest record is created holding your messages, a random identifier and your IP address (used to limit abuse). Guest records that never received a message are removed automatically after 30 days; a guest record that is later linked to an account becomes part of that account.
- Technical data — IP address, browser/device type and access times, used for security, abuse prevention and diagnostics. AILAMA Mind does not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
2. Health-related information and your consent
What you write to the assistant, your mood log and your thought records may reveal information about your mental and emotional health. Such information is treated as sensitive information under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law and as a special category of personal data under the GDPR. By using AILAMA Mind you explicitly consent to our processing of the health-related information you choose to share, for the purposes described on this page. You may withdraw this consent at any time by deleting your memory profile in the app, by using local privacy mode, or by asking us to delete your account; withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before it.
3. Local privacy mode
AILAMA Mind offers a "Local privacy mode". When it is on, conversations are not saved on our servers, no memory profile or summaries are created or updated, and mood logs and thought records are stored only in your browser or device (local storage). Data kept only on your device is under your control and is deleted when you clear the app's site data or uninstall the app. Note that each message must still be sent to the AI service to generate a reply, even in local privacy mode.
4. How we use the data
To provide the service (generate replies, remember context between conversations, show your mood history, plan and exercises, send reminders you asked for), to calculate token usage under your plan, to keep the service secure, to provide support, to improve the product, and to comply with the law. We do not sell your personal data, we do not use your conversations for advertising, and we do not use them to train AI models.
5. AI processing, service providers and data location
Replies, memory summaries, weekly reviews and reminder texts are generated by a third-party large-language-model provider, Moonshot AI (the "Kimi" API), acting as our processor under its API terms; message content and the relevant context are transmitted to that provider only for the purpose of producing a response and are not used by it to train models under those terms. Moonshot AI processes data on servers located outside Israel and the European Economic Area. By using the service you consent to this transfer, as permitted by the Israeli Protection of Privacy (Transfer of Data to Databases Abroad) Regulations and, where the GDPR applies, Article 49(1)(a) of the GDPR.
Our own servers, including the database that holds your account, conversations and memory profile, are hosted by Hostinger in Frankfurt, Germany (European Union). Other providers include Google (sign-in and analytics) and PayPal (payments), as described in the AILAMA Privacy Policy.
6. Retention and deletion
Conversations, mood data, memory profile, plan and weekly reviews linked to your account are kept for as long as your account is active, so that you can review your history and the assistant can remember you. You can delete your memory profile, conversation summaries and plan at any time in the app ("Delete everything you remember about me" in the Mood tracker tab), turn reminders off, start a new conversation, or delete your account and all your content yourself ("Delete my account" in the Mood tracker tab); deletion is immediate. Records of payments are retained in anonymised form for as long as the law requires. You can also write to contact@ailama.live and we will complete any deletion request within 30 days. Guest records that never received a message are deleted after 30 days.
7. Your rights
Under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 (including Amendment 13) and, where applicable, the GDPR, you may ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent. Contact us at contact@ailama.live; we answer within 30 days. If you are in the EEA you may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority; in Israel, with the Privacy Protection Authority.
8. Automated processing and artificial intelligence
AILAMA Mind is an artificial-intelligence system: every reply, summary, plan suggestion and reminder is generated automatically without human review. No decision with legal or similarly significant effects on you is made by the app. This notice is provided in line with the transparency requirements of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act.
9. The Android app
The Android app is a secure wrapper around the mind.ailama.live website (a Trusted Web Activity). It requests no special device permissions other than, if you enable reminders, permission to show notifications; it contains no advertising SDK and does not collect the device's advertising ID. All data handling is exactly as described on this page.
10. Children
AILAMA Mind is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children without parental consent; if you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Security and changes
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with access controls, in accordance with the Israeli Protection of Privacy (Data Security) Regulations, 5777-2017. If a security incident affects your data we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law. We may update this policy; the date above indicates the latest version.
